Fall Into A Better Routine

According to Realtor.com, as we downshift into shorter days and prepare for the additional to do lists that the holidays bring upon us, it is imperative to do a little maintenance to your daily routine.

  •  Assess your current routine: Take a moment and assess your current daily routine. Where could you have done better? What are two things that you could do to make tomorrow better for you?
  •  15 Minute method: Its simple but will help you focus and get organize. The night before sit down for 15 minutes and plan your next Day. Write down six essential tasks that need to be completed. Prioritize your tasks from most important to least important. The next morning you work on one task at a time. At the end of the day, you assess your list and progress.
  •  Improve your communication routine: Clear communication is essential for smart business. The problem is when we get out of routine, or we have too many areas to collect communication, it's easy to get off track. Update your database with any potential leads, and follow up with any outstanding projects.
  • Letting go to make room for the new routine: Since you have evaluated your routine you need to let go of the unnecessary tasks to make room for the more productive ones.

Routines should be adaptable. We are human, and it's impossible to keep habits the same because life is different every day. Just remember, you have a chance for a fresh start each morning.
